Announcements:
Last Friday, an updated list of
reservations from the January 18, 2008 LIHTC funding
round was posted to the MSHDA site - find it here.
There is a Low-Income Housing Tax Credit
(LIHTC) workshop on Friday, June 13 in
Lansing from 9am to 4pm. The cost is $80. Please see the website for
more information.

updates:
On April 24, a coalition of housing
industry partners representing CEDAM, the Michigan Housing
Council, CDAD, the Corporation for Supportive Housing,
Michigan Coalition Against Homelessness, and others released a
joint letter to the MSHDA Interim Director and Board of
Directors responding to the Recap Advisors' recommendations
for Michigan's QAP.

Updates on Public Hearing Schedule, the NOFA, and
Allocation Plan

The Notice of Funds Available (NOFA) for the
MHCDF is now available here and the Allocation Plan is
available here. Three public
hearings on the NOFA/allocation plan will be held as
follows:
June 9,
2008: Lansing MSHDA Office from 10:00-12:00
p.m.
June 10, 2008: Detroit MSHDA
Office from 1:00-3:00 p.m.
June 12,
2008: Gaylord Tree Tops Resort from 1:00-3:00
p.m.
Pending the outcome of these hearings, we anticipate
applications for funds to be available by July.
